# CopeCart EU vs. US — What do I need as an affiliate?

As an affiliate, you need accounts on both **CopeCart EU** and **CopeCart US** to promote the full range of products.

### Why two accounts?

| Platform | Registration requirement |
|---|---|
| **CopeCart US** | No business registration needed |
| **CopeCart EU** | **Registered business required** (e.g. company registration, trade licence) |

We use both platforms for different products, so having both accounts set up ensures you can earn commissions across the board.

### How to get started

2. **Set up CopeCart US** — You can register without a business license: [Register for CopeCart US](https://www.copecart.com/en-us/register-us/)
3. **Set up CopeCart EU** — You will need business documentation to get verified.
